Kevin Hampton Cert CII

Kevin has worked in insurance since leaving school working in initially for a prominent National Insurance Broker specialising in personal insurances. In 1988 the founder of Beach Insurance Brokers approached him to join the company to develop the personal side of the business. This resulted in not only Kevin managing both the personal and commercial insurance departments but becoming the Managing Director of the company in 2003.

Gaining his Cert CII qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2011 Kevin encourages the team to study for the CII qualifications to show both Insurance Companies and clients alike that they have the knowledge and expertise required to perform their roles well. This wealth of knowledge has helped Kev gain the respect and admiration of his clients but also of his colleagues within the insurance industry.

Karin Hampton

Job Title: Company Director

Karin joined the company back in 2003 having had a career break following the birth of their twins. When Kevin was sorting the management buyout, Karin gave Kevin the support that was required to achieve this purchase and came back to work and was appointed a director of the company. The role she was initially employed to do changed in 2011 to include dealing with the company finances and having been on various SAGE courses she now looks after all the company accounts.

Stuart joined the company in August 2008 as an Account Executive and has over 30 years of experience from working within the insurance industry. Stuarts’ vast experience comes from working in both national and local brokerages in the West Midlands dealing with all aspects of Commercial and Personal Insurance.

Stuarts’ main responsibilities are not only looking after our larger commercial clients but our personal clients as well. He gained his Cert CII qualification in 2013 from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Robert Smith Dip CII

Job Title: Account Executive

Qualifications: Dip CII

Rob joined kdh Insurance in December 2011 and has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry from both an insurer background and within the broking field having worked for both large national brokers and smaller intermediaries. He is a competent professional who manages a wide range of both personal and commercial clients and has a specialism in motor trade insurance. Part of Robs role within the company is mentoring and supporting our junior members of the team providing guidance and training in both in house duties and also NVQ and Cert CII qualifications. 

Rob gained his Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2012 followed by his Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2016 and uses the knowledge gained to help his colleagues and clients alike.

Lynne Seggar 

Job Title: Administration Assistant

Lynne joined the company in 2009 as an administration assistant. Her role within the company involves ensuring the company renewal invites are invited on time, dealing with all aspects of data inputting on to the computer, together with assisting the team with their administration to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Nicola Leith

Job Title: Secretary

Nicola joined the company in October 2015 following the retirement of our previous secretary. Her role involves providing secretarial support, along with providing administration support for the team to aid in the running of the office.

Rebecca Lewis

Job Title: Account Handler

Rebecca joined the company in December 2019 as an administration assistant and has recently been promoted to an Account Handler after training in house and developing her knowledge of the wide products that we offer. Rebecca continues to support the management of the company along with providing guidance and support to our clients.

David Richard

Job Title: Account Handler

David joined the company in September 2021 as an Account Handler after working for a large national broker for a number of years. He brings with him vast experience from working with Small Medium Enterprise clients (SME) and will use his skills to help grow the business as well as looking after our existing clients.
